Overview
Testimonials on your WordPress website are entered within the Strong Testimonials plugin. If your website already has testimonials entered and they're showing on the frontend (client-facing) of your site, then you're ready to add new ones into the plugin interface. Otherwise, if you'd like to get testimonials on your site, then please contact us at support@energycircle.com.
Adding Testimonials
To access your Testimonials from the Dashboard of your WordPress website, hover over the 'Testimonials' link in the left sidebar. From there, you can either click the word 'Testimonials' or click 'All Testimonials' and this will take you to a screen which shows all Testimonials that have been created on your website.
Create A New Testimonial
To create a new testimonial, click the 'Add New' button located to the right of the 'Testimonials' heading at the top of the page. In addition, you can click the 'Add New' link located in the left sidebar when you hover over the 'Testimonials' link.
This will bring you to the Testimonial editor screen where you can enter your new testimonial. There are a few things that will need to be added to complete the testimonial entry.
- Enter a title for the Testimonial. This will not be visible on the frontend of your site, but instead will be how the testimonial is organized in the backend.
- Enter the testimonial within the editor.
- Enter the Client Details. In this example that would include the Full Name and the Email address.
Once completed, click the 'Publish' button in the right sidebar to save and publish the testimonial.
You're new testimonial will now be visible within the 'All Testimonials' view. In addition, it will be automatically inserted into the frontend of your site via the Strong Testimonials plugin and the setup that was completed by the Energy Circle team. Again, if your site does not currently display testimonials and you'd like to get them on your site, then please contact us at support@energycircle.com.
